CPA Randy Gorham reviewed Friends' formal application to be recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)(3) organization.

Jim Adams and Brent Stahelin arranged for a representative of Friends to speak to Rotary.

Life members Burns and Sally Tilton made an extra donation, plus Sally is volunteering time.

Jack and Ann Chandler have joined as life members.

Friends extends sympathy to the family of the late Bob Gregg, who was a life member of Friends.

Friends of the Library exists to support the mission of the Jacksonville Public Library, which is to assemble, organize, preserve, and make easily available significant books and other enriching materials that will provide information, stimulation, education, and recreation for every resident of the community.
