NEW TRUSTEES ADDED TO LIBRARY BOARD

Randy Gorham and Douglas Wilson have been appointed to fill vacancies on the Library's board, bringing the board to its full membership of 15.

  Do you know who has held a card at the Library for the longest continuous time?

Neither do members of the committee planning the Library's celebration of National Library Week.

But they're making it their business to find out, and the result will be announ- ced this month during National Library Week. Other commemorations are:

  • a bookmark contest among elementary school age readers;

  • selection of the Library Family of the Year; and

  • a traditional readers' evening.
The readers at the Library on Thursday evening, April 13, will include Kay Keller, Peggy Lustig, Bernard Mayfield, Gordon Ross, Dirk Sheridan, John Speck, and Amanda Speck. Dr. Wayne Ralston will be master of ceremonies.

The planning committee is chaired by Library trustee Kris McMoyle. Assist- ing her are trustees Jim Adams, Dona Ralston, Janis Robinson, and Teresa Speck.
