What do you do in life beside work at the library?
Read! Beginning in September, I plan to start work on my masters in library science degree.
What do you find satisfying about work at the library?
Helping people, doing work I love. Being around books and people is the greatest job in the world.
What is your "dream wish" for the library?
More full-time staff positions, especially in reference.

What are you currently reading?
Where the Red Fern Grows by Wilson Rawls. I'm reading this book to my 5-year-old son, Ryan. (I don't have much time for myself right now.)
What book do you recommend?
My all-time favorite book is Margaret Mitchell's Gone with the Wind.
What do you do in life beside serve on the library board?
I teach sixth grade science. My hobby right now is my children: Ryan, five, and Cydney, two months.
Why do you serve on the library board?
I feel books are very important to children. The library can give all children the opportunity to experience reading any book they desire.
What is your "dream wish" for the library?
That the library will continue to grow in all areas, technology as well as literature
